For the first time, a traveling exhibit promoting the MRSEC program and the Materials Research Facilities Network was presented at the 2008 NOBCChE (National Organization of Chemists and Chemical Engineers) meeting in Philadelphia. The booth was a resounding success in generating interest amongst potential users while 
at the same time promoting the MRSEC program and its diversity mission. In addition to significant "foot traffic" throughout the day, numerous individuals collected fliers (over 300 passed out) and a large number (75) signed up to be on the mailing list. A key feature of the display booth is its ability to be shipped to other conferences and MRSEC locations to maximize the visibility and impact of the MRFN/Diversity programs.
