Sharing Science through the Arts

Jon Norman Schneider (Michael Black) and James Saito (Salter) in 2011 ETOPiA production of A Number by Caryl Churchill.      Four undergraduate engineers gave nightly 15 min. presentations about the science behind the play and led panel discussions in front of the audience.

Oct/Nov 2011: NU-MRSEC supported the ETOPiA (Engineering Transdisciplinary Outreach Program in the Arts) production of the play A Number  about the moral implications of cloning. The play starred two professional actors for 14 performances to an audience of 745 community members, grad students, undergrads, staff & faculty, including 170 high school students.
