The
University of Chicago MRSEC continues its collaboration with Particulate Solid Research Inc. (PSRI) located in Chicago. Not only are there regular meetings to
exchange information regarding particle technology, but Heinrich Jaeger, along
with Ray Cocco
(Technical Director) and Reddy Kari (Director of Engineering Research) from
PSRI, co-organized the new AlChe Particle Technology Conference, "Frontiers in Particle Science and Technology: Particle Interactions Applied" (April 29-May
1, 2014) in Oakbrook, IL. This conference focused on particle
interactions as applied towards commercialization. MRSEC students presented
posters and gave talks at this event.
