Through our after-school science clubs, MRSEC volunteers work closely with a group of students to introduce them to scientific concepts and develop their interests and curiosity in STEM fields.

The CMI MRSEC offers a program for 11th-grade Michigan residents, promoting science and engineering participation through materials science research, professional development, and collaboration with diverse UM summer programs.

HighRise is another summer program in partnership with local high schools, offering students interested in STEM careers a hands-on laboratory experience in Materials Science & Engineering.
