The Annual Eli Burstein Lecture in Materials Science this year will be give by Professor Paul M. Chaikin, on November 2nd at 4:00 pm in the Hoff Lynch Lecture Room, Department of Chemistry (DRL building).

This two-day workshop will bring together a group of scientists working on the fundamentals of charge transport across interfaces, adhesion and deformation at small scales, material transport, and functional applications of contacts. http://www.princeton.edu/~pccm/Symposium/irg3workshop06.html

On September 26, 2006, the National Science Foundation (NSF), the National Science Digital Library (NSDL), and its Materials Digital Library (MatDL) Pathway hosted a workshop at NSF Headquarters in Arlington, VA with participants from several Materials Research Science and Engineering Centers (MRSEC). Representatives from National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), NSF, NSDL Core Integration, and the MatDL Pathway took part.
