This IRG establishes the design rules, machine learning models, and microfluidic experimentation platforms needed to rapidly create and characterize architected microgels, vesicles, and dense assemblies, including their ability to assemble and disassemble on demand. Target applications in biotechnology include cell encapsulation, enzyme screening, drug delivery, and bioprinting.
