UC San Diego MRSEC collaborates with its industry, academic, national laboratory, international, and other partners to 1) Augment the quality of research by filling key gaps in expertise and capabilities, 2) Identify new and emerging challenges within the IRG research domains, 3) Enhance the educational experience of MRSEC trainees with external activities aligned with IRG research themes, and 4) Ensure that fundamental materials discoveries of the MRSEC are impactful and are broadly disseminated to the research and technology communities worldwide.
