The 13th Annual PREM Symposium took place in San Juan, PR and focused on artificial intelligence and autonomous experimentation. The previous year, the PREM was awarded a supplement to engage in collaborative work with the Penn Research Traineeship NRT (“Soft AE”).  Due to a strong resonance and strategic alignment between the participating institutions, a mix of postdoctoral fellows and graduate students from Penn served as speakers for the partnership’s culminating event, highlighting the breadth of expertise across multiple levels and to facilitate the transfer of knowledge.

The day consisted of 5 talks from Penn PD/GS and 33 poster presentations from UPR students, which served as an opportunity for presenters to not only further develop their science communication skills but to also provide participant with a platform to showcase the amazing work being conducted within the collaboration.
