PCCM partnered with the Harvard University MRSEC to host the annual Holiday Lecture on December 11, 2021. Taking on a completely original and new topic for 2021, PCCM focused on fluid dynamics in its presentation: Let it Flow: A Festival about Fluids.
Due to COVID restrictions, the program was virtual and reached audiences from around the world (stars on the map at right indicate countries who participated). Presentations for the lecture included faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students: Howard Stone, Bonnie Bassler, Niki Abbasi, Janine Nunes, Paul R. Kaneelil, Konane Bay, Ambika Somasundar, Petros Koumoutsakos, and others. With 447 families registered (and 658 children), there were 1,000+ participants!
