NSDL Materials Digital Library Workshop

On September 26, 2006, the National Science Foundation (NSF), the National Science Digital Library (NSDL), and its Materials Digital Library (MatDL) Pathway hosted a workshop at NSF Headquarters in Arlington, VA with participants from several Materials Research Science and Engineering Centers (MRSEC). Representatives from National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), NSF, NSDL Core Integration, and the MatDL Pathway took part. The primary aims of the workshop were to: provide an overview of NSDL; demonstrate examples of support for materials research and education from NSDL MatDL Pathway; and consider possible collaborative work among the participating MRSECs, the NSDL, and MatDL based on mutual interests.
