Cornell University :: Joint development/use of Shared Equipment Facilities
Cornell’s Facilities 101 on April 8, 2008 attracted 16 participants from 11 organizations.
Each spring, the Cornell Center for Materials Research (CCMR) invites participants from regional businesses to a 1-day “Facilities 101” workshop comprising classroom presentations, lab tours, and demonstrations. Attendees learn how the experienced staff and extensive instrumentation of the CCMR Shared Experimental Facilities can help solve problems and support in-house R&D efforts. This event is one element of an Industrial Partnerships program that has helped to expand external use of CCMR facilities over the past 3 years.
