The MRL at UCSB is proud to be involved in the establishment of a MRSEC Facilities Network to support greater use and availability of the significant infrastructure that has been developed at all MRSEC’s in the area of instrumentation. Our initial partners include the MRSEC’s at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, the University of Minnesota and the University of Southern Mississippi and a major goal of this program is enable and support use of MRSEC facilities by the greater materials community. Partial support is available to encourage use of the MRSEC Facilities Network by researchers at undergraduate institutions, non-Ph.D. granting programs as well as assistant professors.
