Hudson Mesoscale Processing Facility @ Cornell University

Material specimens of dimensions in the range of 1nm to 5??m are essential for successful studies on structure, property, and functions of many materials and biological systems. The Hudson Mesoscale Processing Facility provides instrumentation and technical services to enable and promote scientific research in materials at small dimensions. The facility serves a broad cross-section of the materials community at Cornell with the user community spanning multiple departments and colleges at Cornell. Instruments in this facility include: Leica Ultracut UCT / Cryo-Section System EM FCS Cee?? Model 100B Spin Bake Unit TA Instrument Q400EM Thermomechanical Analyzer (TMA) Novocontrol Turnkey Concept 80 Broadband Dielectric Spectrometer Thermogravimetric/Differential Thermal Analyzer TG/DTA 320 TA Instruments Dynamic Mechanical Analyzer DMA 2980 The CCMR facilities are run by expert staff who provide training and technical assistance. We welcome outside users from both industry and academia. Potential users are encouraged to contact us by e-mail or visit the facility on the web.
