Engineering Design I camp @ University of Maryland

This exciting camp is designed to support the Project Lead the Way program at Flowers High School. The program is designed to prepare students for fall engineering classes. Topics include: materials properties and selection, product design, and prototyping. Activities include: metal casting, plastic molding, and designing a hovercraft. Students will work in teams on engineering problems and the camp will include fun hands-on activities, meeting a scientist, and a touring an engineering laboratory.
