The first GEMSEC Annual Workshop will be held at the Friday Harbor Marine Laboratories of the University of Washington, at San Juan Island, on Sept. 6-8, 2006 (Sept 6 noon- Sep. 8 noon; see the brochure). Every member of the GEMSEC community is recommended to attend and present their work.
Agenda of the Workshop: There are >15 invited talks (presented by the speakers around the country as well as by the Center investigators) and poster presentations (by each of the Center students and Post-docs), with an ample amount of time for discussions. Invited talks will be given in the morning and at night. Poster presentations will be during the late afternoon. A detailed schedule will be available at the GEMSEC web site ~ Aug. 25th.
